BYTE is a retro-shooter set inside of a simulation. You are a computer program trying to eliminate a rogue AI called BYTE.
Who?
You play as BIT, a computer program made by BYTEWARE. Use your versatile moveset and a range of weapons to take down the evil AI, BYTE!
What?
Uh-oh! The internal servers of BYTEWARE are under attack, by who? The former human they transported into the digital realm, BYTE. Your goal is to take down BYTE and the simulation they're in.
How much will it cost?
While we can't say for certain just yet, we're hoping to release the game for free to everyone on the Steam Platform.
Please keep in mind that this may change in the future.
When does it release?
We're aiming for a release around late 2025 to early 2026, but we can't make any guarantees just yet.
We're focusing heavily on the quality of this game before we release it to the public.
However we do want to share small snippets of the game as public demos while you wait for the full release!
